Bucket wheel
Bucket wheels are deployed to clean and drain sand from upstream screening machines with spray facilities.
The sand-water mix to be processed – the feed slurry – runs through a feed impact chamber which is protected against wear. The sand is scooped out of the tub by the buckets of the wheel construction and simultaneously dewatered. It has an adjustable design so that the filling buckets can be optimised.
The planetary gear driving mechanism guarantees lower maintenance and operating costs at higher operational availability.
